Friday, 2? if July, 2014: Back !?!
OH MY GOD….leaving London was one of the harder tasks and I think landing in Germany will take me a while…. Tears are not dried yet and yesterday after an 9 hour drive (with a special good bye in Richmond Park with all deer) we arrived safely with 4 kids, 2 cats, a cat litter box, 6 duvets, a coffee machine, and all the bits and bops you usually find in the house after the movers have left…it was quite a modern way of travelling…keeping in mind that the cats did not only look at the litter box ;).
The warm and long expected welcome at home was fabulous, anyhow we have been overwhelmed by emotions and still are. Today we spent quite some time in Uni clinic Frankfurt (not air conditioned by the way…why the hell do they have air conditions in rainy London and none in Frankfurt ???), getting some reasonable good blood counts and discussing next weeks chemo. Very warm welcome as well, anyhow London still on our mind….this will take forever …
Lets come to the good side of life…friends showing up, family members showing up, helping hands, laughing, the long awaited hugs and kisses….this is also home ;)))
Lets not forget about the house…..AWESOME ;))) though we miss 25 York Avenue ;( …. and we miss our neighbours big time already!!!! But we’ll be back soon!
Lets give you some impressions …not that many since I have been stuck between all the boxes ;)))
Na dann, willkommen in Deutschland!
Wir freuen uns, dass es nun endlich geklappt hat.
Lebt Euch gut ein und genießt den deutschen Sommer.
Herzliche Grüße von uns allen.
